Set in the richly diverse world of the African Savannah, The Lion King told the story of a young lion in a way no film has before, or since. Extending and enhancing the rich tapestry of this story is the goal of this world.
Characters in this world are animals from the African savannah, true to their species with the necessary Disney-esque changes, such as the ability to talk. Man has not made any intrusion upon this world, and is not expected to anytime.
This version of the Pridelands has diverged from the story in the movie, as the feature characters have done different things, see what might have happened 'if' something went a little differently. This is the essense of FlipSide.
If you want the experience without the fuss and the predictability of the feature characters, maybe going it as a member of the neighboring Kopje Pride will be more your style, providing a chance to live under the rule of a different King.
If you Just Can't Wait to be King, would like to interact with Simba, Nala and Zira, or perhaps even BE one of the feature characters from the movie (when available), then check out the Pridelands, and contact Simba.
